Guwahati: Himachal scored a decent 362 in it’s first inning in the under 19 Cooch Behar Trophy semi final match against Assam being played at Nehru Stadium. Himachal inning was steered by young lads Aatish Bhalaik and Akash Vashisht who scored 83 and 79 respectively.
The duo steered Himachal innings when Himachal was struggling at 122 for six wickets in 49 overs but saw the first day with Himachal ending the day at 261 for six wickets. Himachal innings ended today on 362 with tail enders putting up a spirited fight against Assam scoring 101 runs with the remaining four wickets. Such was the attack that Himachal tail enders piled up 44 runs for the 10th wicket.
In reply Assam ended up the day with 141/3 when the stumps were drawn.
