BJP first list for Himachal elections out; Dhumal to contest from Hamirpur

Shimla: The BJP released the first list of candidates for Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elections on Friday evening. BJP announced names for 45 assembly constituency while names of candidates for the rest 23 seats will be announced later.

Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal will contest the election from Hamirpur seat this time.

As per the list announced today the BJP has retained 32 sitting MLAs which include the Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and seven cabinet ministers.
