Dhumal lays foundation stone of parking complex in Chotta Shimla

Shimla: Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal today laid the foundation stone of multi-storeyed parking complex at Chhota Shimla to accommodate parking of 250 vehicles at a cost of Rs. 11.68 crore.

Speaking to the media Dhumal said the parking complex would be of six storey with 30,000 sq. feet as commercial area and the construction work was likely to take about one year for completion.

He said the state government was concentrating its efforts to increase the parking slots in the capital town by constructing more such multi-storeyed parking in the town to decongest the town of road side parking. He hoped that the proposed parking would help ease road side parking problem in Chhota Shimla.
