Shimla: HCL Infosystems has won a prestigious contract worth about Rs.100 crore for restructured accelerated power development and reform program ( RAPDRP) from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board.
The project will entail deployment of a state wide solution to establish the baseline data and IT applications for energy accounting/auditing and IT-based consumer service centres in 14 towns, comprising 30 subdivision offices and 293 other offices.
Rajeev Asija, Executive Vice President, System Integration & International Business of HCL Infosystems said, ‘This being our second win in the space after the similar project won in Rajasthan testifies our understanding and leadership in setting up IT-based solutions for such critical projects in the country.’
Recently HPSEB partnered with software solutions provider SAP and TCS to integrate, automate and manage resources across its organisation.
