Heavy rainfall forecast for Himachal

Shimla: The met office forecasted heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh for the next two days. The state was lashed with heavy rains on Sunday.

Met office director, Manmohan Singh said, There are chances of heavy spells of rain across the state till Tuesday.’

He said Shimla, Solan, Bilaspur, Una, Hamirpur, Sirmaur and Kangra districts would experience heavy rainfall.

Shimla, Narkanda, Kufri, Kalpa, Kasauli, Chamba, Dharamsala, Palampur and Manali saw good spells of rain on Sunday.

Shimla recorded a high of 20.2 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala was 31.8 degrees while it was 32.8 degrees in Una on Sunday.
