Himachal Assembly winter session from December 6

Shimla: The four-day winter session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly will begin on December 6. The brief session will be held at Tapovan complex in Dharamsala.

The decision was taken today at a meeting of the state cabinet, an official spokesperson said. The cabinet also approved amendment in the policy for procurement of medicines by Rogi Kalyan Samitis for outdoor patients.

Members of the BPL families, accidental and emergency patients without any attendant would also be eligible to draw medicines as per the policy of the state government.

The cabinet approved amendment in Himachal Pradesh Social Security (Pension/Allowances) rules, 2010 raising the maximum income limit of the beneficiary from all sources from Rs 17,000 to Rs 24,000 to include more old, widows, handicapped, destitute women and single women.
