Himachal cold wave conditions continue

Shimla: There was no respite from the cold wave across Himachal Pradesh though Shimla recorded a rise in the minimum temperature by 4 degrees. Minimum temperature at Shimla recorded was 7.6 degree Celsius.

Kalpa in Kinnaur district recorded minimum temperature at minus 0.4 degree while Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district recorded a minimum temperature at minus 6.1 degrees. As per reports higher altitude areas are experiencing extreme cold wave with minimum temperature ranging between minus eight and minus fourteen degrees Celsius.

Bhuntar recorded minus 1.3 degrees, Sundernagar was minus 0.4 degrees, Mandi was at 0.2 degrees and Solan reeled at 0.5 degree Celsius as cold wave conditions spread across Himachal Pradesh.

Una recorded a minimum of 2.4 degree C while Dharamsala and Palampur were also in the grip of cold wave with minimum temperature at 4.7 degree and 4.5 degree. Nahan also experienced the coldest night with mercury dipping to 5.8 degrees.
