The response time will be 30 minutes in urban areas and 45 minutes in rural areas. The project cost is expected to be Rs 20 crore and the annual expenditure for running the service is likely to be Rs. 15 crore.
The service is expected to kick-start in the next two months with the arrival of first batch of ambulances.
