Hindi Sewa Samman award for Himachal writer SR Harnot

Shimla: Himachal writer SR Harnot  has been selected for Hindi Sewa Samman Award to be given by Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) based Kalidas Academy.

Harnot is being honoured for his contemporary work in Hindi literature.

Harnot  is famous for his book ‘Hidimb’ which portrays stories from Himachal Pradesh. Harnot has authored many books depicting stories and culture from Himachal Pradesh.

Harnot has been bestowed with many literary awards in the past including the International Indu Sharma Katha Samman and his books has already been translated into many  other languages.
