Shimla: Himachal Pradesh has received investment proposal of around Rs. 1000 crore from industrial houses of the country in an investment meet presided over by Industry minister Kishan Kapoor at Himachal Bhawan New Delhi.
He said Mahindra Pharma Group has shown keenness to set up Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Pharma sector in the state. Investment proposals in the field of solar power, electronics units, mineral water plants, food parks, photo film has also been received by the government.
Kapoor said the Government would take decision on all the proposals in time-bound manner.
The minister assured the industry that he would visit all industrial hubs of the state and will hold detailed discussions regarding industrialisation and all related issues so as to have wider understanding of various issues.
He also invited the leading industrial houses to set up their industrial units in the state as there was complete transparency in the administration. Land, water, power and other infrastructure was in abundance in the state and readily available to the industries in comparison to the neighbouring states, he added.
