Nahan: US based Indian WWE Wrestler the Great Khali alias Daleep Singh Rana today said a wrestling stadium would soon be established in Himachal.
Khali was interacting with mediapersons at Paonta Sahib this morning on way to his native village in Shilai sub-division. He said he would prefer that the stadium was established in his home district of Sirmour.
He told reporters that Himachal Cricket Association president and MP Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur had talked to him for setting up a wrestling stadium in Himachal so that the state wrestlers could learn WWE wrestling techniques.
When asked whether he was interested to settle in India, he said he planned to continue wrestling for next six to seven years as he was fully fit.
Khali was accompanied by Chairman National Anti-terrorist front Maninder Singh Bitta and three foreign wrestlers. Khali, who has worked in Hollywood movies, said he had received proposals from Bollywood but would consult WWE before accepting them. He said his first Hindi movie ”Khushi” would be released on May 14. He added that he had also acted in ”Ramma” which is a children’s adventure film.
