Light snowfall in higher reaches of Himachal

Shimla: Light snowfall was reported from higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh on Monday where as lower areas received moderate rainfall. Higher altitude hills of Kinnaur, Lahul-Spiti, Chamba and Kullu experienced mild snowfall today morning.

Keylong received 15 cm of snow and recorded a temprature of minus 3.9 degrees Celcius. Shimla, Solan and Mandi received rainfall during the day.

Western disturbance has become active in the state and the wet weather may continue during the week.
