Shimla (Jan 11) : Himachal Pradesh may experience more snowfall and rain this weekend, met office said here today. Manmohan Singh, director of the local met office said the western disturbance originating from the Caspian Sea would be active again in the region.
He said there were chances of more snow and rain in the state from January 12 onwards.
He said the main tourist destinations of Shimla, Kufri, Narkanda, Manali, Dalhousie etc may experience snowfall during this period.
Himachal Pradesh witnessed wide spread snowfall on the last two days of 2010 with Shimla experiencing snowfall on 31st December.
