Resident Commissioner’s office gutted in fire in Killar in Chamba

Chamba: In a devastating fire that broke out last night the office of Resident Commissioner, Killar at Pangi was completely destroyed.

As per reports, offices of Education Department, Youth Services and Sports, Special Area Development Authority and a store of project officer, Integrated Tribal Development Project was also gutted in the fire.

However, no loss of life has been reported so far.

According to SDM Pangi, KS Chaudhary, the preliminary loss was estimated to be around Rs.1 crore. However, the cause of fire has not been ascertained till now.
