Rohtang Pass likely to open on Tuesday

Manali: Rohtang Pass in Himachal Pradesh, closed due to heavy snowfall accumulated since Friday, is likely to reopen by Tuesday, an official said on Sunday.
Kullu Deputy Commissioner B.M. Nanta said that road connectivity to Keylong, the district headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, would be restored with the reopening of the Rohtang Pass.
According to the met office, the Rohtang Pass, 52 km from Manali, was closed to traffic on Friday after it witnessed more than two feet snowfall.
