Virbhadra asked to appear in court in CD case

Shimla: Special court judge B.L. Soni directed Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh, a former member of parliament (MP), to be present in court  on Nov 27 in a corruption case registered against him by the state’s vigilance and anti-corruption bureau

Special Public Prosecutor Jiwan Lal Sharma said that the judge took cognisance of the charge sheet filed by the bureau.

The charge sheet was filed by the bureau against them on Oct 1 after the Himachal Pradesh High Court dismissed Virbhara’s petition to transfer a corruption case against him to the CBI.
