Shimla: Satyawati Parmar, wife of first Himachal Chief Minister, Dr. YS Parmar passed away in Shimla on Tuesday night at IGMC after a prolonged illness. She was 88. She was cremated in Shimla later in the day.
Satyawati Parmar was the president of Himachal Congress from 1964-1969 and also a member of Rajya Sabha.
